Arrived late, but the hotel had take away menus in the room and the food arrived quickly and was delicious. They even provided us with a lighter! The staff were really nice and eager to help. They also offered free airport transfer and the drive, although a bit dodgy, was safe. I would recommend this hotel for a layover.

I recently stayed at Royal Green Accommodation Chennai Airport for one night before my flight. The location was excellent, just a short train ride away from Chennai for Rs5. The hotel arranged a taxi for us to Puducherry, and when the driver tried to rush us, the manager spoke with him and ensured we got to see all the sites we wanted. The staff were courteous and apologetic when we returned. The free airport shuttle was convenient, and breakfast with toast, jam, and coffee was perfect. There was also a great nearby restaurant recommended by Ali, the hotel manager. a great stay with amazing service.

They claim to offer a 24-hour front desk, so I guess if I needed anything at 3 AM, they would be happy to assist. Oh, and they have a terrace, which is great if you enjoy staring at a concrete slab.

I absolutely adored the fact that the shared lounge was shared with no one, and the tour desk was missing like that missing sock from my suitcase.
